ThetaRecap vs Wingman Tracker
Both tools track the wheel. They differ most on price and on how they treat trust. This is a plain comparison — the facts, and a table. Prices and features were last verified in July 2026 and can change; check each vendor before you decide.
Wingman Tracker is a wheel-native tool at roughly $49 a month. Its strength is roll grouping — it understands the shape of a rolled position well. It also offers automatic broker sync across several brokers, which ThetaRecap does not yet (auto-sync is on the Pro roadmap; today ThetaRecap imports CSVs).
Two things separate them. First, Wingman's price sits at the $49 point the wheel community repeatedly says is too high for a hobby tool. Second, and more central to why ThetaRecap exists: Wingman has drawn community reports of import accuracy problems — trades appearing that never happened — and it does not reconcile imports against your broker statement. ThetaRecap is built around exactly that gap.
ThetaRecap recomputes your positions and cash from your fills and diffs them against the broker's own totals, so a bad import is a loud, visible mismatch rather than a silently wrong number. That is the whole design premise: never silently wrong.

Community-reported import issues reflect public discussion in r/thetagang, not a controlled test. Verify current behavior with your own broker export. ThetaRecap does not yet offer auto-sync; if live-sync breadth is your top priority today, that is a real point in Wingman's favor.
